Our general terms and conditions of business apply to all orders placed through our shop and are therefore a basic part of the processing of every order.
Bauhaus Stars S.L. is a Spanish company which supplies its customers all over the world with goods such as furniture and interior accessories from the home furnishing market.
The firm's headquarters are located in the Canary Islands (a Special Economic Zone) and Bauhaus Stars S.L. therefore has the advantage of not having to charge its customers value added tax. We are thus able to offer our customers the most attractive prices and TOP quality.
§ 1 Information on Prices
We deliver orders for goods up to a value of 1,000 Euros or more free of charge within the EU. Otherwise, we will add delivery charges up to a maximum of 10% of the value of the purchase (for more information, see § 3 Delivery). As the customer you can see exactly what charges you will be paying right at the start of every ordering procedure. There will be no retrospective price alterations nor are there any hidden charges.
For orders placed from outside the European Union, various other charges such as customs handling charges (40 euros), import duties and even unforeseen charges may accrue. For deliveries outside the European Union , please contact us directly. We will prepare a quote for you and try our best to ensure that you get your goods cheaply and safely.

§ 2 Terms of Payment
You can use one of the following payment methods:
- payment in advance via electronic transfer as soon as you receive our confirmation of your order. We will then give you an advance payment discount of 5% of the net value of the goods.
- with credit card. We accept VISA and MASTERCARD; such payments are processed via the secure Payone system. There will be no additional charges for you. You do NOT have to become a Payone member yourself to use this method of payment. With the order the creditcard is debited over the total invoice amount. By the debit the customer can see "www.bauhaus-stars.com" on the bank statement.
§ 3 Delivery
As the licensing situation differs from country to country, we sell exclusively ex-warehouse in Italy.
The goods become the property of the customer on being transferred to the freight forwarder. This is conditional on payment as agreed. As a rule, delivery is made within the delivery period stated in the confirmation of the order. Delivery delays will not be considered sufficient reason to cancel the purchase contract.
Delivery charges within Europe:
- for orders to the value of €999.00: 10% shipping charges in addition to the purchase price
- for orders valued from €1,000.00: no shipping charges
Deliveries outside the European Union:
For deliveries outside the European Union we will be happy to give you a non-binding quote. Please contact our sales team at sales@bauhaus-stars.com in this regard.
§ 4 Money-Back Guarantee
Buy risk-free. If you are dissatisfied with a product you have ordered, you can let us know by email up to 10 days after delivery and put the furniture to one side, unused and in the original packaging, for collection. We will collect it and refund you the purchase price (voucher).
§ 5 Five-Year Guarantee
We give you a five-year guarantee on all goods bought from us from the date you receive them.
In order to make a guarantee claim, it is absolutely vital that you keep the original invoice.
In cases where a guarantee claim is made, the defective parts or the entire product will be replaced, depending on the nature of the damage.
Complaints are to be notified in writing, email or fax and will be processed depending on the production-time of the replacements of the parts which are the subject of the complaint.
§ 6 Guarantee
All furniture is sold by model without any guarantee of the characteristics of the model. We reserve the right to make reasonable variations in the colour and grain on wooden surfaces customary for the trade. Equally, we reserve the right to make reasonable variations in textiles, e.g., furniture and decoration fabrics customary for the trade with respect to negligible deviations in the products sold compared with fabric samples, especially in fabric shades.
Where complaints due to defects are justified, the purchaser's guarantee rights are initially restricted to having the defects corrected. The vendor is entitled to supply replacement goods instead of having the defects corrected. The purchaser may, at his option, withdraw from the sales contract (cancellation) or demand a reduction (abatement) in the price if correction of the defects or the supply of replacement goods fails, especially if they have not been performed by an appropriate deadline or if the vendor has refused to make them. In addition, liability for assured characteristics remains unaffected.
Graining in leather (a natural product) is not a reason for a reduction in the price or for exchanging the product.
There will be no exchanges in cases where goods have been made to order.
§ 7 Damage During Delivery
Please check the goods immediately on arrival. Check the packaging first for visible damage and open the packaging in the presence of the driver. Should you find any damage, please photograph it immediately and do not sign any documents.
All deliveries are insured for damage during transport and any damage caused by the transporting company must be notified by us. We can only accept such claims if you help us by initially refusing to accept the delivery.
In the case of minor, "acceptable" damage, please contact us directly and we will find a solution and we will find some way to assist you.
§ 8 Contract of Sale
We regard ourselves solely as an online shop and our online catalogue should be regarded as a general offer. The placing of an order does not constitute a contract of sale; this requires our written confirmation of the order which will usually be made in the form of an email.
§ 9 Reservation of Title
The delivered goods remain the property of Bauhaus Stars S.L until the furniture has been paid for in full by the customer.
§ 10 Data Protection
In accordance with the provisions of EU data protection law, information on our customers will not be passed to third parties and will be treated with the strictest confidence.
§ 11 Copyright
Our company logo and company name are registered trademarks of Bauhaus Stars S.L. All other trademarks, product names and company names and logos shown on our websites are the sole property of the respective owners.
§ 12 Place of Jurisdiction
The place of jurisdiction is Las Palmas, Spain.
The prices quoted make no claim to completeness. All information is given without guarantee. The right to errors of fact, typographical errors and price and product alterations is reserved.
